ABC Eastern Pennsylvania's course and seminar offerings provide our member companies with a first class training resource that enables them to develop a well-trained workforce. We offer training for the entire firm, from support staff all the way to the company CEO.

Our goal is to assist our members in the growth and development of their workforce by empowering them to compete in the construction marketplace.

Successful competition is a team effort, and like a chain, the contractor's team is only as strong as the weakest link. This makes it very important for all team members to be given the opportunity to stretch and grow in the area of their job responsibilities. We even offer customized training!

Construction Management Certificate Program

The Construction Management Certificate Program is designed to educate today's construction professional on the current standards and techniques in key management areas. Students can earn a certificate in Construction Management Fundamentals by completing three courses offered in the program. Click Here to learn more. 


Custom and In-House Training

Custom training seminars and workshops can be developed specifically for your company and employee needs and is delivered on ABC premises for you. A key benefit is that the training will focus on the areas you have chosen. 

In-House training is training that is conducted at your place of business, during the day or evening. This option provides an added convenience to your employees as well as encouraging your employees to learn and grow together as a team. A majority of our open-enrollment seminars and workshops are available on an In-House basis. Key benefits include: a schedule that you choose, the use of your facilities, a place more convenient for your employees, and the ability to help ensure the success of the training program.

Fees for Custom and In-House Training are greatly affected by: the specific type and duration of training, the number of participants, curriculum resources, professional fees, and travel costs for the trainer or instructor, and other various items. 

If you are interested in setting up a private class, please email education@abceastpa.org with the following information:
  1. Contact Name
  2. Contact's Title
  3. Company
  4. Phone Number
  5. Email Address
  6. The Topic of the class you are interested in
  7. The Dates you would prefer the class to take place
  8. Estimated number of students

Requesting Transcripts/Certificates of Completion

If you have a current or newly hired employee who has completed training with the ABC Eastern Pennsylvania chapter in the past you can now request for transcripts of their training successfully completed with the chapter or even for Certificates of Completion to keep on file, for previously completed training's. 

In order to request a Transcript or Certificate of Completion email education@abceastpa.org with the following information:
  • Full Name of the Trainee
  • Email Address of the Person Requesting to Receive the Information
  • All Previous Employers for the Trainee

NOTE: Please allow for 48 to 72 hours for your request to be fully received, processed, and handled. For any mass requests for transcripts of certificates of completion please allow an additional 24 hours for processing. 


TEAM Self-Assessment Program

Established nearly over a decade ago by the ABC Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter's Management Education Committee, the TEAM (Training, Education and Management) program is an self-evaluation tool for chapter members based upon best practices identified by some of the leading training directors in the region. There is no charge to participate and your responses are strictly confidential. Interested in Teaching a Seminar or Workshop?

ABC provides many opportunities to our members through seminars, round-tables, panel discussions, and other educational events. We utilize the knowledge and expertise of ABC embers whenever possible and are currently seeking presenters to address current issues, construction methods, technologies, and other topics specific to the construction industry.

Do you have an idea for an engaging, informative, and non-commercial presentation that would benefit ABC members? If so, please complete a Presenter Proposal Form and forward to ABC's Education Department at education@abceastpa.org.

Proposals will be considered by the Management Education Committee. Please provide as much detail as possible. Questionnaire must be fully completed in order to be considered. Content must be kept strictly educational.
