OSHA Partnership

OSHA's Strategic Partnership Program

Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) entered into a Strategic Partnership. The overall goal of the partnership is to create a relationship that focuses on preventing fatalities, controlling or eliminating serious hazards, and improving the safety management system.

The impact of this Partnership will be invaluable for Philadelphia, Reading, Allentown, and Scranton as well as their surrounding areas as this Partnership will strive to reduce injury/illness rates; insurance costs; and compensation claims through increasing communication with OSHA  and the construction community. Our current Partners greatly benefit from the Partnership in the following areas:

  • Safer Job Sites
  • Lower Accident Risk
  • Lower Workers Comp Modifier
  • Lower TRIR
  • Random Inspection Avoidance

How the Partnerships Work

Working together OSHA, employers, employees, and other stakeholders identify workplace safety and health issues and develop strategies; goals; and performance measures to address those issues. Partnerships are established through a written, signed agreement which can last up to 5 years. For More Information.
